Grades 3 and up are welcome.
This course is designed to be a hands-on, interactive introduction into the world of computer programming and technology. Students will be using software that uses drag and drop “blocks” which interconnect to create computer programs.
They will create highly interactive solutions using popular educational programs like MIT’s Scratch and Carnegie Mellon University’s Alice.
Students will be empowered as collaborators to solve challenging problems. These creative kids will then apply the coding skills they’ve learned by developing their own scripts and programs in an interactive project-based environment.
By utilizing block coding, we give kids a leg up in the fundamentals of programming.
All art camps/classes at Art Studio Hamptons are taught by New York State Certified Art & Technology Teachers with years of experience in the classroom.
Camp size is limited to 8 students.
Each camp price includes all materials and supplies.
